About Us

At Intrinsic Counseling and Treatment Center PLLC, we believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reconnecting with what’s always been there: your inner strength, your resilience, your capacity for change.

We’re a trauma-informed, client-centered practice serving adults across Texas through secure, compassionate telehealth therapy. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or difficulty with anger, we provide a safe space to explore what’s beneath the surface—without judgment and at your own pace.

Why “Intrinsic”?

The word intrinsic means something that belongs naturally—something built in, inherent. We chose this name because we believe healing doesn’t come from outside you. It comes from within. Our work is simply to help you uncover it.

We specialize in supporting adults who are:

Our Approach

We recognize that each person’s story is different. That’s why we don’t offer one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we meet you where you are and tailor treatment to your unique needs, values, and goals.

We draw from evidence-based modalities like:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – to process trauma and reduce emotional distress

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to understand and heal the internal parts that hold pain or protective roles

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to help you shift patterns of thought and behavior that no longer serve you

We work from the inside out—helping you uncover and reconnect with the strengths and resources already within you.
